Rene Nevarez, DC, QME?
Professional Background & Leadership
I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences back in 2007. Over the years, I’ve grown both professionally and personally. In 2012, I became a Qualified Medical Evaluator, and later, I achieved board certifications as an Orthopedic Technologist in 2019 and an Orthopedic Physician Extender in 2024. Leading the Guardian Group’s SIBTF division has been an incredible experience, where I oversee a team dedicated to delivering accurate, high-quality medical reviews.

In addition to my work there, I’m also the proud owner of Nevarez Chiropractic and Wellness Corp. Providing holistic, patient-centered care is truly my passion. Every day, I focus on helping my patients find balance, improve mobility, and enhance their overall wellness in a supportive and healing environment.

She graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2007 and entered the medical-legal field in 2009.
At a multidisciplinary work injury clinic, she collaborated closely with orthopedic surgeons.
There, she gained valuable experience in impairment ratings, causation, and apportionment.
She is also well known for her work with the Subsequent Injuries Benefit Trust Fund (SIBTF), helping injured workers with pre-existing disabilities navigate complex claims.
